  Citywide Garage Sale
If you are looking for great bargains without shopping on eBay, this event is for you! Each year Mt. Vernon hosts two city wide garage sales. People come from neighboring towns to get a good deal, so be sure to start out early on your hunt! Please see our Calendar for the dates in June and September!
  Customer Appreciation Day
Each year in May, The Mount Vernon Chamber members shows their appreciation to the community by providing a free lunch for everyone who stops by the Chamber's office. See our full callendar for the exact date in May!
