The "Missouri State Tuberculosis Sanatorium" was begun in 1906, and the ensuing years have been replaced with new names and new buildings. It is now the "Missouri Rehabilitation Center." It is associated with the University of Missouri. On the same campus are the Missouri Veterans' Home and the Veterans' Administration Gene Taylor Satellite Outpatient Clinic. They are located at 600 N. Main.
